Normally two coffee beans are formed in a single coffee cherry. However, about 5 percent of the crop is formed as a single coffee bean. This relatively small but dense bean is known as Peaberry and exhibits a unique acid yet fruity taste.

Since our trip to Kona in 1997 we have used only Greenwell Farms Peaberry coffee. My husband's family grew coffee in El Salvador, and he agrees this is the smoothest, least bitter, most flavorful coffee he has ever tasted.
