The espresso roast knocked my socks off. It's so smooth I now drink it straight instead of my old stand by cappuccino. Last October I had the pleasure of touring the coffee farm and was encouraged to try the dark roast. It was good, but when I then tried the espresso roast there was no contest. The flavor is wonderful. If you haven't tried it you are missing a fabulous taste experience. Many people don't try espresso because they think it is strong and bitter. This coffee is so smooth you will wonder why you never tried espresso before. I recommend Greenwell Farms to everyone. Their tour is definitely worth the time if you get a chance. Very informative and interesting. Friendly helpful staff.

We discovered Greenwell Farms during a visit to Kona. We not only fell in love with Kona, we fell in love with the Greenwell Farms coffee. It is the only coffee we will drink. We buy it at the farm when we are in Kona and buy it on-line when we are on the mainland. We used to be Starbuck's fans, but now we only make our lattes with Greenwell Farms Espresso.

Smooth with No Bitterness |

My wife and I purchased whole bean coffee at the Greenwell Farm in Kona. Besides being the best coffee farm tour on the Big Island, and we toured many, the espresso roast was the best coffee we purchased, and we purchased many. We brew it in a home espresso maker, nothing fancy, and grind it fresh each time we brew...smooth, not at all bitter, maybe a little nutty. Awesome. This coffee could win the Pepsi challenge against any of the Seattle coffee we get here. We're coming back for more....and thrilled to see that we can purchase it online. Thanks, Greenwell Farms, for the great tour and the great coffee. Worth every penny, it's a great value.
